El Grande Tequila Jalepeno Shrimp

Nothing makes a party go El Grande more than these mouth watering Tequilia Lemon Jalepeno Shrimp!

Get some 10/15 large Tiger Shrimp, Give them a cold water sea salt bath for 10 minutes to crispen up the shrimp. Clean and devain leaving the tails intact!

Rinse thoroughly and blot dry with a clean linen towel.

Splash with some fresh squeezed lime juice and some fine minced jalepeno pepper, tear apart some fresh coriander leaves.  Pinch sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste. Toss!

In a thick bottom saute pan on medium heat add a tbs of olive oil, 2 tbs of unsalted butter. tabasco sauce, just a dash,  lime juice and a heaping tbs of minced garlic and 2 tbs spoons of green onions. Stir and simmer till the flavours merry!

Now turn the burner to high and add the shrimp and pan saute always moving and turning the shrimp.

Now add 2 oz of tequila and ignite staying clear of the intense fire ball and continue to mix and pan toss.

Add somecmore fresh lime juice coriander and green onion for extra flavour garnish.

If you want to switch it up, use vodka and lemons along with basil and add feta cheese.

Serve on a heated platter with some napkins and a pitcher of ice cold Margaritas.
