Rum Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosted Brownie.
Here is a quick and delicious dessert that can be made quickly and by adding the apple butter it tastes moist and refreshing. Use other sweeteners in place of white sugar adjusting recipe to fit your tastes. The frosting can be made lighter by adding in more rum and some marshmallows.
You will need for the brownie;
1 1/3 cups fresh flour
1 teaspoon fresh baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter  …
1 cup fry’s cocoa
1 cup sugar
1 cup apple butter
1/2 cup walnut pieces
3 eggs
1 teaspoons vanilla
How to make it;
Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt in small bowl.
Melt butter in a large saucepan.
Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa.
Blend in sugar, eggs, apple butter, vanilla and rum.
Blend in dry ingredients plus the nuts.
Pour batter into greased baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Cool.
The Frosting;
1/3 cup cream cheese.
1/3 cup cocoa powder.
1/3 cup icing sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon Augusta bitters
2 table spoons of Dark Rum
With a spatula, in a bowl mix and stir till you have a nice lightly whipped frosting. About 50 strokes
When the brownie has cooled using the spatula, spread atop pulling from the center to the edges.
Cut into portions and serve with some Vanilla Yogurt!
